1- Employment of physical therapists is expected to grow by 30 percent from 2008 to 2018, much faster than the average for all occupations.
 
 
2- In 2009, there were 212 physical therapist education programs. Of these accredited programs, 12 awarded master's degrees; and 200 awarded doctoral degrees.
